Thurtene Carnival BEST PRODUCTION!
Mon Apr 14 2008
Thurtene Carnival at Washington University is the oldest and largest student-run carnival in the nation. Each Spring, Fraternities and Sororities pair up for a 6-week construction and production project leading up to carnival. Members work diligently day and night for a shot at winning an award for their work, which is evaluated by WashU Faculty. This year, our play, cleverly named "C.P.U. Can Do it!" won Best Production. This year we changed the dynamic of themes for the carnival by not picking a place, but by picking a computer. All proceeds from this year's event went to a previously selected charity, the SSDN (South Side Day Nursery).
