We are a student group that provides resources for Wash U students, faculty, and employees, as well as
the St. Louis community. We have a discussion group which meets every other week during the school year
and a presentation/hands-on series which meets every other week (weeks alternate with the discussion group).
We also have a small, but growing, library of books.
The Alternative Lifestyle Association was founded in 2004 by a few students who made this group possible
through a great deal of work and with a wonderful vision which has continued to expand over the years.
The ALA is now lucky enough to have a wonderful faculty advisor and the full support of Student Union.
Thanks to all of the support we continue to receive from our school, the St. Louis Community, and individuals
we are proud to be able to present two presentations each year, one at the end of the Fall semester
and one in the middle of the Spring semester. We do not have the presenters confirmed for this coming school
year and would love to hear from you about who you would like to see present. Please visit our "events" page
