In the Spring 2009 semester, Atma was able to raise over $400 for a rural school in India! For more information check out www.ekal.org !

Spring Semester 2009 Roundup: 2 Temple Trips, a movie night, a shloka night, an amazing Raas Garba with many prospective and current WashU students, dinner after the Holi Waterballoon fight, a Noodles and Company benefit night, and fresh samosas brought right to your door to help raise money for Ekal! Keep an eye out for our first GBM for the Fall of 2009! Have a great summer!

Atma will be holding its first Temple Trip of the semester on Sunday, February 8th. We will be meeting at the clocktower at 10:30am so we can get to the temple by 11. Transportation will be provided. Sign up for this FB event

What is Atma?

Atma is Washington University's Hindu Student Association. Our mission is to promote awareness of Hindu culture and philosophy throughout the Washington University community. Our events are open to the campus community as learning opportunities and social gatherings. We hold periodic temple trips, on-campus poojas, formal dinners, social gatherings, and special celebrations in honor of Hindu festivals. Our group is casual and open to anyone.
