The Washington University Crew team trains on Creve Coeur lake during the season, and in the Washington University Athletic Complex for winter training. Most of the team also elects to attend spring training during spring break. Since 2003, the team has traveled to Nachitoches, LA for spring training. In the past, it has also visited Augusta, GA.
In-season : During the season, the team takes a bus to Creve Coeur Lake, which is located 20-25 minutes away in Creve Coeur, MO. Our newly constructed boathouse is located on the northern shore of the lake. The facility is shared with the Saint Louis Rowing Club, so athletes may use ergometers, lift weights, or go on the water.
Off-season : During the off-season, the team remains on campus and trains in the University's Athletic Complex. Workouts may take place in the erg room, weight room, gymnasium, or pool.
