See our Calendar page for submission deadlines. Below are the guidelines for submitting poetry, fiction, and art. Please be sure the follow the guidelines as closely as possible, as it makes life easier for our editors. If you have questions regarding the submission process, contact Jacquie at jelane@wustl.edu. POETRY
It used to be that poetry could be submitted via e-mail or to the eliot review mailbox. We now only accept e-mailed submissions at eliotrev@restech.wustl.edu. Please follow these guidelines:
- Write "poetry submission" in the subject line of the e-mail.
- Attach each poem individually as a Word document. Title each document as the name of the poem.
- Include your name and contact information in the body of the e-mail. Do not include any identifying information with your poems.
- Please have all poems be in Times or Times New Roman font.
- Type your poems exactly as you want to see them printed (this sounds like a no-brainer, but we often have confusions over capitalizations).
- If you want your poem to appear anonymously in the magazine, specify this in your e-mail, but do not leave out your contact information.
FICTION
Fiction is also submitted via e-mail at eliotrev@restech.wustl.edu. These submissions will be forwarded to the fiction editor. Follow the same guidelines as above, but write "fiction submission" in the subject line.
ART
Art should be submitted to the Bixby Main Office, where we leave the Eliot Review portfolio. Digital art can be submitted via e-mail, but please also submit a printed copy if possible.
