• ONE TIME PEER COUNSELING: At Uncle Joe's, all members of the Washington University community are welcome to stop by or call any time to talk about ANY problems or concerns.
• COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL: Uncle Joe's members are not allowed to disclose any information about a client's identity or situation.
• A RESOURCE LIBRARY: We have an abundant supply of pamphlets and brochures covering a wide range of issues that face college students and adults.
• STUDENT-RUN AND STAFFED: All Joes are Washington University students who have volunteered their time and energy to serve the Wash U community.
• HIGHLY TRAINED: All Joes have undergone over 100 hours of intense training on many issues concerning college students.
• REFERRALS: If a client wants ongoing or additional help, we have referalls to over 100 different organizations in the St. Louis area.
